Perhaps one of South Australia's best kept secrets is the picturesque McLaren Vale where vineyards, almond orchards and olive groves all grow within sight of the sea. The region is known for its wonderful Shiraz and Grenache which are grown in many family owned boutique wineries where you can visit and taste their wines. As well as the wine this wonderful Mediterranean climate has encouraged the development of almond orchards and olive groves.
Your tour could include:
A tasting at a number of the outstanding family owned boutique wineries, such as Wirra Wirra, Fox Creek, Woodstock or Hugh Hamiltons.
A tasting at Coriole Winery where grapes have been grown since 1920 and the first bottled Coriole wine was the 1970 Shiraz. Coriole has earned its reputation of producing premium full-bodied red wines focusing on Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon'. Coriole also produce unique Artisan cheeses from their own dairy and you will enjoy a variety of their award winning cheeses.
A visit to the famous McLaren Vale Olive Grove to sample Olive Oil products including oil, fruit, pastes, wine, olive oil beauty products and fabulous Alpaca Clothing. Fine local almonds at the Almond Train and a visit to the Medlow Chocolates outlet.
A lunch, which showcases the skills of innovative chefs using the superb fresh regional produced at Coriole or Woodstock Wineries. Inclusions:

A great opportunity to meet colleagues before the Conference commences. Entertainment by Amicus Strings whose members are professional musicians with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and the Adelaide Art Orchestra. Afterwards gather with friends and enjoy the some of Adelaide's best restaurants nearby.

Conference Dinner7.00 pm for 7.30pm Monday 17 November Adelaide Convention Centre
The Dinner will be a highlight of the Conference. Entertainment by Raymond Crowe, one of Australia 's finest entertainers. Combining his highly skilled techniques with warm humour and audience participation, Raymond's live shows are a kaleidoscope of music, magic and fast-paced comedy. Background music by the Bruce Hancock Trio. Pre dinner drinks and a three course dinner with unlimited beverages served throughout the evening.
